Synopsis

Our Take

A young woman and a shepherd, both from different worlds, encounter each other and spend a day criss-crossing the Causse’s high plains looking for some of the shephard’s animals that have wandered off. While they walk, they talk about life, work and love.

Our series of films by directors at the 66th Festival de Cannes continues with this medium length feature, one of the rarest in our series, by an underrrated poet of cinema: Alain Guiraudie, whose Stranger by the Lake premiered on Friday in Un Certain Regard.
